Full Moon Release Ritual for Letting Go
August 23, 2026This practical prosperity bowl ritual uses coins, basil, bay, candlelight, and focused intention to help you notice opportunities and commit to one responsible action toward a financial or business goal.
Create a grounded symbol of abundance while keeping the emphasis on planning, effort, and wise choices rather than guaranteed financial results.
Ritual Overview
This beginner-friendly prosperity bowl ritual combines coins, herbs, candlelight, and a written goal to support attention, motivation, and purposeful action. It does not guarantee money or replace budgeting, professional financial advice, or the practical work required to reach your goal.
What You Will Need
- One green, gold, or ivory candle
- A fire-safe candle holder
- A small bowl
- Three coins
- One bay leaf and a pinch of dried basil
- One cinnamon stick, optional
- Green aventurine or citrine, optional
- A small piece of paper and a pen
Before You Begin
Choose one realistic goal, such as saving a specific amount, applying for a better position, completing a product listing, or contacting a potential customer. Decide on one action you can complete within forty-eight hours.
Prosperity Bowl Ritual for New Opportunities
- Prepare the bowl. Place the three coins in the bowl, followed by the bay leaf, basil, cinnamon, and optional stones.
- Write the goal. State your goal in one clear sentence. Under it, write the next practical action you will take.
- Fold with intention. Fold the paper toward yourself once and place it beneath the bowl.
- Light the candle. Place the candle beside—not inside—the bowl. As you light it, picture yourself noticing useful opportunities and responding with good judgment.
- Speak your intention. Read the words below, then repeat your written action aloud.
- Close the ritual. Sit quietly for three to five minutes. Extinguish the candle safely and schedule the action on your calendar.
Words of Intention
I welcome honest opportunity, clear judgment, and steady growth. I recognize the doors available to me and take responsible action toward abundance.
After the Ritual
Keep the bowl near your desk or financial planner for seven days. Complete your written action within forty-eight hours. At the end of the week, return the coins to circulation, compost or discard the herbs, and review what changed because of the action you took.
Practice Safely
Keep the candle away from paper, dried herbs, curtains, pets, children, drafts, and flammable objects. Never leave an open flame unattended. Cinnamon and herbs should not be burned in this ritual. Use a battery-operated candle when needed. This spiritual practice is not financial advice, and results are not guaranteed.
